FAQ

Why opt for a diamond flatback ear stud?

Designed for all-day comfort and security, this dainty piece is finished with a threaded flatback fastening, allowing it to sit gently against the ear while remaining securely in place. Its understated elegance and versatile design make it an effortless choice for everyday wear – bringing quiet luxury to every moment.

Can I buy just one diamond flatback ear stud?

Yes. Each stud is sold individually, giving you the freedom to curate your ear stack with intention. Mix shapes, play with asymmetry, or build a collection over time – it’s all about expressing your style on your terms.

Are your flatback studs safe for sensitive ears?

Yes. Crafted in 18K solid gold, these earrings are designed for gentle, comfortable wear. Our white gold is specifically nickel-free and enriched with palladium to offer added ease for sensitive skin. At The Love Diamond, every alloy is carefully selected to minimise irritation.

Can I order diamond flatback ear studs for gifts in yellow gold?

Absolutely! While most of our ear studs come in white or rose gold, 18K yellow gold is available as a made-to-order option. This allows us to work intentionally with a premium material, known for its richer tone and higher gold content.

How should I clean and care for my diamond flatback studs?

A gentle rinse with warm water and mild soap is all you need to keep your ear studs clean and sparkling. To restore their original brilliance, our Aftercare Service offers complimentary cleaning, replating, and polishing at our Atelier. When putting your studs back on, screw them in gently until you feel slight resistance, and check occasionally to ensure they remain secure.
